Each year, Aisha takes on a small selection of London clients who want to bring a sense of calm and peace into their home while adding interest to their interior. It's her talent with spatial design and her tempered fascination with the unexpected that makes all the difference. It’s no wonder that her interiors have a soothing yet surprising quality to them.
"Whenever I walk into a room, I feel the energy. It happens every time," she says. "That's why my designs go beyond the physical, beyond the measuring tape. They uplift the spirit and illuminate the soul."
Previously, Aisha designed chic and charismatic interiors in Dubai and Karachi. As a result, she has the confidence to use colours and materials that have the unmistakable influence of the Middle East and Asia. Her approach is just as alluring when she works with minimal or monochrome styling.
Her former career as a roving reporter means Aisha brings a global perspective to her work. She also spent time designing theatrical sets – an exciting experience that informs her style today and ensures there’s at least one mysterious focal point for the eye.
As a lifelong learner, with the spirit of an adventurer and an unquenchable curiosity, she is on a continual quest to seek new ideas and inspiration.
"My clients are too busy to design and decorate themselves," says Aisha. "I give them the confidence to make good choices that will work for their taste and lifestyle."
To help protect the environment, one of Aisha's key themes is upcycling existing pieces of furniture rather than replacing them. Caring is also a recurring theme that comes up in her work with the community (see Giving back)

"We need to save the planet from ourselves," she explains. "A pre-loved piece can be made to look brand new and beautiful without cutting down more trees."
